1974 Corvette Stingray

US $27,500.00 NO SALE

You are bidding on a very beautiful and recently restored 1974 Chevy Corvette Stingray (Hot Rod...not a numbers matching car). The 350 was recently rebuilt plus a few standard horsepower adding upgrades and has about 1500 miles on it. I just had a guy install a very hot 700R4 overdrive transmission that makes this car really get after it on the highway. Here are a few of the details:

All new polyurethane bushings (extremely tight suspension)

New brakes plus I have 2 brand new front rotors that I haven't installed (I'll throw in the rotors with the car or install them for you if you pay the buy it now price)

New autometer pro comp gauges with a custom made gauge cluster (except for original speedometer)

Custom interior work
17" Cragar SS's with new tires
Custom 2 year old paint and garage kept (zinc yellow with black pinstriping)
Vintage Air A/C system
Lots of new interior parts
New mouldings and the T-tops hardly leak at all
Just got a laser alignment done and it tracks nice
All new Painless Performance wiring harness
Runs great and is an everyday driver
Lots of new parts here and there
VIN 1Z37J4S400282--this means it was originally an L-81, but don't let that discourage you since it's a rebuild and not an original
I still have the original steering wheel and spare tire holder.
It's still an old car so there are always little things here and there that need to be tinkered with (i.e. the windshield wipers get on my nerves although the Vette is very seldom in the rain). Overall, I've been very happy with the car and have been working on it for several years. The odometer shows 32,893 (I'm guessing it's turned over, but I don't know that for a fact).

Canney sez: The Camaro inspired hockey stripes is a refreshingly neat idea. L81's didn't exist in 1974.
