I think black sidepipes work better with 80-82 C3's
Hello and thank you for checking out my car!
I have owned this Corvette for 20 out of the past 28 years. It was completely stock when I purchased it back in 1988. Over the years, I have added many new parts and made several modifications from nose to tail. The drive train is essentially new and/or rebuilt. There is less than 10K on the motor rebuild. Please view the photos in this listing. I have more photos and a short movie clip that I can e-mail you if interested.
The motor was bored .060 over and new pistons, rods, high volume/high pressure oil pump and a high lift camshaft were installed. Some of the other aftermarket components include: 7 qt. Moroso oil pan, Pete Jackson "noisy" timing gears, Edelbrock mechanical fuel pump with polished Air Gap intake manifold, Barry Grant 650 cfm Speed Demon carburetor, Edelbrock Performer Nitrous Oxide system, Crane roller rockers, GM "Fuelie" Camel-back heads w/2.02" intake and 1.60" exhaust, MSD billet distributor, MSD Digital Plus 6 ignition with Blaster SS coil and plug wires, Dynatech ceramic coated headers w/Patroit chrome side pipes, Hipster Turbo 350 w/high stall convertor and shift kit, 3.73 posi rear end with completely rebuilt half-shafts, new brakes and calipers, L88 hood w/Harwood Aero scoop fiberglassed in, functional Mr. Gasket three butterfly air scoop, locking mirror T-tops, digital speedometer, nitrous pressure and fuel gauges mounted through hood, blackout light kit, Alpine stereo w/cassette player, powered sub-woofer, equalizer and amplifier.
There is no heater or air conditioner or windshield wipers. This car was built for horsepower and never driven in the snow or rain!! The interior is relatively stock except for the nitrous bottle and sub-woofer (see photos). I have many of the original stock parts including the hood. There is a small tear in the leather on the drivers seat (I can e-mail a photo of that). The paint is good. This car is a head turner and always gets a "thumbs-up" when driving around and at drive-in
