1969 Project Corvette 



Vehicle Description 

This car was originally a running 350HP 350 with 4 speed. The prior owner started to restore it, had the body stripped and the engine/trans sent to the machine shop. Due to financial problems, he was unable to finish the car and his engine and trans were sold to pay the machine shop bill. The body work was started with glassing over several seams that were showing, but the front passenger corner will still need some work. I was also not happy with the tail light panel, so I bought a correct press molded replacement - which is included with the car. It still has the 4.10 posi rear, windshield wiper motor with correct headlight washer setup (see pics), and the frame has pitting but appears OK. The dash and seats are present but will need to be redone. All the glass is there too. I have owned this car for over 7 years, but have been too busy with my other projects to get around to it.

I was planning to rebuild it as an L88 clone, so I am also including a NOM 427/454 block with either a 427 or 454 crank, oval port heads, tach drive distributor (points type), crank and water pump pullies, Corvette oil pan, and alternator mounting brackets. I am also including a Muncie 4 speed and shifter and the correct 15/16" front (or your choice of 1 1/8") and 9/16" rear big block only sway bars.

If you decide that you want to go the L88 route, for an ADDITIONAL charge above the bidding price on this car, I can also sell you a date code correct "512" casting 4 bolt main block, forged Eagle crank, T.I. distributor, 263 repro coil, "198" intake (needs reskinning), and L88 heads. I even have the J56 brake supports and the F41 springs somewhere. But please remember, this auction price does NOT include these special L88 parts.
