1972 RestoMod Corvette

Vehicle Description

If you're looking for old school styling, late model performance and reliability, here is your car. It took a little over a year to complete, and I finished this car about 5 months ago. As you can see from the picture of the bare frame, the car was completely disassembled, which made the installation of the all aluminum LS1 and 4L60E transmission much easier. Also, the bodywork was done while the body was off the frame so that the components already refurbished and installed would not be subjected to dust or over spray. The paint and body work on this car are excellent. The interior is original except for the new seat covers and new carpet. The oil pressure gauge and tachometer work, but don't seem to be accurate since I used new style sending units with the old style gauge. The speedometer is accurate thanks to the Cable X Box which converts the electronic signal from the transmission to a cable which goes to the dash. Since I did not plan on driving this car in the rain, I did not install the windshield wipers. But, I will supply the wiper motor, arms and blades to the new owner, along with the horn which has not been installed yet.
