1982 Berlina

Vehicle Description

Up for auction is a rare 1982 Berlina Corvette coupe with T-tops. The cars were inspired by the 500 and
540K Mercedes-Benz cars from the later 30's that in today's market have brought over $3 million at auction.

Manufactured by the Phillips Motor Car Corporation of Pompano Beach Florida in the early 80's. A conversion
of a corvette to a Berlina coupe. I'm not sure how many of these have been made. I've been told the
company made some 900 over six years from one source, 400 from another. I was told of this year and model
maybe 100 made but they were supposed to be crushed, somehow this one survived. If anyone out there
knows the story about these I'd love to hear it.

I'm Ebaying this car for friend, the 2nd owner of the car (since 1986). I drove the car to get smogged (it
passed!) and went for an afternoon drive ---- What Fun!

There are only 59,581 miles on the car. The car has been well maintained always passed smog. Cars in great
shape, has a beautiful metallic silver color looks perfect except a small area behind the drivers spare tire
mount (looks like a spill that caused some wrinkling). The worst things I noticed about the car are the wire
wheels are starting to show some rusting and the front bumper has a small scrape (see pic) that has begun
to rust.
